16 Days of Activism 2022

As the country embarked on #16DAYSOFACTIVISM2022, NCVT held its Annual General Meeting on the 25th November 2022. Amongst other things discussed were the work done by the organisation in dealing with Gender-Based Violence and Femicide Pandemic. The meeting also outlined plans for 2023 in dealing with more societal ills.

Commemoration of Youth Month

15 June 2022

In commemoration of Youth Month, the organization on Wednesday, 15th June 2022 hosted an event in Kyasands informal settlement. In this event, NCVT donated food parcels to 16 needy families in the area. Stakeholders like Dauglasdale Police Station supported the event.

Child Protection Week

11 June 2022

NCVT engaged with Rainbow FM 90.7 on #ChildProtectionWeek2022 under the Theme: “Let us all protect children during Covid 19 and beyond”. The organisation was represented by Social Worker Ms Patience Chauke.

Human Rights Month

28 March 2022

“NCVT in partnership with SAPS from Rabie Ridge and Ivory Park Police Station held an anti-bullying campaign on Monday, 28th March 2022 at the Youth Centre in Ivory Park. The event was done in commemoration of the Human Rights Month”
